A wave of rain across the Midwest slowed harvest progress. Meanwhile, livestock markets saw active two-sided trade as live cattle futures touched multi-month highs before pulling back some, while feeder cattle drew sustained strength from lower feed costs and aggressive replacement demand. **Corn:** December corn spent the week under pressure, continuing its post-WASDE slide following last Friday's USDA yield expansion to 181.2 bpa. The USDA Crop Progress report showed the national corn harvest reaching 33% complete, running 6 percentage points behind the 5-year average as widespread rains slowed combine progress across major producing states. National corn ratings marginally improved to 56% good-to-excellent. Despite field delays, seasonal harvest pressure kept prices pinned, with December corn settling at $4.74 ¼ bu. **Soybeans:** Soybean futures traded lower across the week, facing pressure from seasonal harvest momentum and weaker soybean meal values. U.S. soybean harvest advanced to 46% complete (nearing the halfway mark, though 4 points behind the 5-year average pace) with 92% of the crop dropping leaves. November soybeans closed at $12.61 ¼ bu. **Wheat:** Chicago December wheat saw choppy, sideways trading, settling at $6.59 ¾ bu and KC wheat following suit and settled at $7.04. Global export competition and improved moisture for winter wheat establishment across the Southern Plains capped rally attempts, despite lower U.S. production totals. **Cotton:** ICE cotton futures faced some pressure late in the week, surrendering some recent gains as December cotton settled near 80 cents/lb. Traders continue to weigh harvest progress against international export demand and macro currency moves. The livestock complex delivered strong fundamental performance, led by feeder cattle rallies and multi-month highs in live cattle contracts. **Live Cattle:** Live cattle futures staged a mid-week breakout to new multi-month highs, driven by tight structural calf supplies and steady cash trade. Physical cash cattle held firm. December live cattle settled in the green at $228.35. **Feeder Cattle:** Feeder cattle contracts continued their strong post-WASDE rally, held by cheaper corn feed input costs and aggressive feedlot bidding at regional auctions. November feeder cattle climbed to $341.9. Macro markets were driven by crude oil surges and broader financial market rallies. **Crude Oil:** WTI crude oil futures spiked late in the week to settle near $100 per barrel after the EIA reported a steep 8.6-million-barrel draw in U.S. crude stockpiles alongside persistent Strait of Hormuz shipping disruptions. **S&P 500**: Equities endured a high-volatility week marked by two sharp sell-offs that erased early gains and left the major benchmark on track for a weekly loss. After testing fresh high levels above 7,800 on Tuesday, the market hit a wall midweek as surging 10-year Treasury yields and hotter-than-expected Producer Price Index (PPI) inflation data triggered a sharp tech and AI-linked rout on Thursday.
